We Come to You
The Museum is grounded in an educational philosophy that sees play and hands-on experience as the keys to stimulating curiosity and motivating learning in children.
Our outreach programs are geared for groups in
pre-school and kindergarten, and our fun and energetic staffers engage the children in various activities. The skills of predicting, estimating, observing and analyzing, so fundamental in a child’s development, are delivered in a fresh, new way. The opportunity for creative expression is encouraged by our professional early education staff.

• We believe in active participation and inquiry-based education
• We design our programs with national and state curriculum standards
• We teach kids that art and science are all around them.

All workshops are designed to support the MA Arts Curriculum Frameworks. Science & math workshops are designed to support the MA Science and Technology/Engineering Curriculum Frameworks.
