We Come to You
The Museum is grounded in an educational philosophy that sees play and hands-on experience as the keys to stimulating curiosity and motivating learning in children. Our outreach programs are geared for groups in pre-school and kindergarten, and our fun and energetic staffers engage the children in various activities. The skills of predicting, estimating, observing and analyzing, so fundamental in a child’s development, are delivered in a fresh, new way. The opportunity for creative expression is encouraged by our professional early education staff.

All workshops are designed to support the MA Arts Curriculum Frameworks. Science & math workshops are designed to support the MA Science and Technology/Engineering Curriculum Frameworks.
 
 
Science Road Show
Hands on learning ...that's what we do!
 (1st grade and up)
 

What better way to learn about science than by conducting experiments!  This traveling program will challenge your children's minds with exciting hands-on activities.  Your children will have so much fun, they won't even realize they are learning.

• We teach kids that science is all around them

It's as easy as 1, 2, 3  You pick the type of program. Choose to have the CME crew during school hours, or arrange a science night for kids and their parents

1. Daytime Program   Geared for individual classes, these workshops are theme-based and are best in a classroom setting, where students can participate.
2. Afternoon Programs  Ideal for organizations that wish to have the CME crew visit once or arrange scheduled weekly or monthly  workshops.
