Senator Brian A. Joyce: Father of five, State Senator and Attorney

"In this tough economy the Museum is a great resource for our community, it's a safe, honest, OLD FASHION PLACE TO PLAY!"

When asked about how he first heard about the Museum, Sen. Joyce replied, “I began representing the town of Easton in the Massachusetts Senate in 2002 and in anticipation of having a new community in my district I learned about the important local people and institutions in 2001 when the district was announced and the term was set. I asked around and got to know interesting and active people in town. They told me about the Children’s Museum and what an important part of the community it was.”

Senator Joyce has been very active in helping to recognize those Museum volunteers whose efforts have been outstanding - the Museum's Annual Volunteers of the Year.  He generously provides state senate citations to those individuals in honor of their achievements and the impact they and the Museum have had on the district he represents.
