Meg Wofford: new mother and former staff member

"I've been blessed to be able to work there and I know it's prepared me for my new role as a MOTHER!"

Meg started off as a floor manager working the front desk and exhibit floor. Later, she started teaching the summer camp- first as an assistant and then as a co-teacher with Jane Rotondi, the camp director.

“I grew up in Easton and came all the time as a kid. I loved the Museum when I was a little, so then when I saw they were hiring I was excited to come in and apply! I always loved it.  I started working there when was 16. Once I got there I loved it so much I stayed until I was 22!”

When Meg was asked about the favorite program or event she answered “My favorite part is always the Kids Holiday Shop. It’s fun to take the kids around and watch them pick out presents for their parents. It’s so cute, they are so sure mom is going to love the gift.   I can’t wait to take my own daughter to the Kid's Holiday Shop.”

Meg also said “the Museum is a wonderful place for families, they offer so many programs and are such an active part of the community. It makes so many kids happy.

The Museum has taught me how to be responsible at a job, I learned not only the visitor service aspect but also how to work with children and to be more patient and understanding, I’ve been blessed to be able to work there!”
