Our exhibits serve as the inspiration behind this week's theme. We'll make stamp art, create clay fossils, plant some seeds and more! Each day brings something NEW! Wednesday, December 26 (Museum open 9am-5pm) Postage Stamp Art, 10am-4pm Using a postage stamp as the inspiration for your masterpiece, you can choose to create a collage, mosaic or sketch out your work of art.
Thursday, December 27 (Museum open 9am-5pm) Planting Seeds, 10am-4pm Even though it is getting colder, there are still many things you can grow indoors, like parsley! You can make a planter and plant the seeds here, but you’ll have to take care of your new plant to make sure it grows healthy and strong. Friday, December 28 (Museum open 9am-5pm) Float My Boat, 10am-4pm How much cargo can a boat hold? You’ll be the designer and engineer. Design the boat, build a model and test it out on water in this FETCH! science activity. Saturday, December 29 (Museum open noon-5pm) Clay Fossils, Noon-4pm Using molds created from real fossils, you can create your own fossil replica to take home. Sunday, December 30 (Museum open noon-5pm) Fire Truck, Noon-4pm Inspired by one of our most popular exhibits, create a fire truck using a variety of craft supplies.
