What's There To Do?
• Pick up a brochure and scavenger hunt when you enter. Have a fun time exploring and discovering the world of nature.
• Dig in the Dinosaur fossil pit!
• Climb to the top of the Tree House. What can you see? Are there any ducks swimming in the pond?
• Have an imaginary tea party with woodland creatures and fairies.
• Our amadinda is a favorite instrument with people of all musical abilities because anything and everything played on it sounds wonderful! The tuning is pentatonic, which means that it consists of five notes, all of which harmonize with one another. This instrument is based on those used by the Beganda tribe of southern Uganda.
• Quietly observe the winged and multi-legged creatures that visit our Butterfly Garden. Record your sightings in the log.
• Paint with nature at the Butterfly Table. Use the rocks and other natural objects to create a beautiful butterfly. Did you know butterflies are bilaterally symmetrical like us? A starfish is radially symmetrical.
